Oklahoma Heritage Association
Two of the main methods the Oklahoma Heritage Association uses to achieve its mission of preserving Oklahoma’s history and promoting pride in the state are educating Oklahoma students about the state’s rich heritage and honoring leaders who preserving Oklahoma history.

By offering more than $400,000 in scholarships each year to Oklahoma high schoolers, the Oklahoma Heritage Association hopes to encourage students to continue their educations in the state and then make their homes here.  Heritage Week competitions provide fourth through 12th graders the chance to embrace their heritage, and win cash prizes for their efforts.

Each year, the Association offers awards and grant monies to outstanding Oklahoma educators.  Awards are also bestowed on individuals, organizations and periodicals that works to preserve Oklahoma history.
