The Oklahoma Heritage Association is pleased to offer nine lessons that supplement the teaching of Oklahoma History at the 4th grade and high school levels and support Oklahoma’s PASS Objectives for the subject.
Each lesson can be downloaded below and includes activities for both 4th grade and high school students:

The goal of the “I Am Oklahoma” certificate is to encourage young Oklahomans, ages 8-17, to explore their own Oklahoma story through their family, community, and Oklahoma’s rich history. With this process will come a sense of pride in being an Oklahoman and celebrating the unique history of our great state.
To earn the certificate, participants will complete the required number of activities in each of the four sections: My Individual Oklahoma Story, My Community Story, the State of Oklahoma Story, and Oklahoma and the World.
Upon completion, students receive a certificate and free passes to visit the Gaylord-Pickens Museum.
